So in the new Kindle spot they successfully put a gay couple…YAH!!! Love seeing ads that don’t go by the “social norms;” however, I felt it was forced. You’re made to believe this random stranger is hitting on this woman at a beach with the new Kindle Paperwhite, but SURPRISE he’s not, his “husband” is at the bar with the woman’s husband.

I definitely think it’s great to see an LGBT ad on a channel other than LOGO and for a larger company, but I just felt it was thrown in there.

“Here is our product, you can read it on the beach, oh and by the way, we support gays… your welcome.” - The people of Kindle and Amazon.

I would have loved to of seen an ad about the Kindle and a special one you could by like a rainbow colored case that goes to a foundation for LGBT or awareness against people who bully on sexual orientation, a more successful way of saying here is our product and we support everyone.
